The handles are wrapped in premium cowhide leather, offering a tactile and secure grip that only improves with age. Exposure to sweat, sun, and sap will develop a natural patina over time, making each pair uniquely yours.
Produced by Toyama Hamono—respected Japanese makers of blades since the 1860s—these secateurs are drop forged and honed to a razor-sharp convex edge. They come in a boxed perfect to store away.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid cutting hard, dead, or woody material. Do not sharpen the back of the blade, as it may cause damage. To extend the blade’s life, wipe clean after use with a light solvent/lubricant. We recommend Yanipika and camellia oil for best results.
